Behavior which impedes lifestyle or learning is of utmost concern to educators, parents, pediatricians, psychologists, support staff and family members. If interventions based on negative reinforcement techniques are not working, perhaps the interventions on this site will be of benefit to your situation. We have found proactive and positive interventions to be of great benefit for those children who negative consequences have failed to decrease targeted behaviors.
Chaos theory studies the behavior of systemic conditions which are highly sensitive to initial circumstances. Tiny fluctuations in initial circumstances produce digressions from the initial course. Many refer to this as the butterfly effect. The tiny flap of a butterfly’s wings in Europe causes a tornado in Texas. Most refer to the negative aspects of chaos theory. However; in the world of behavior, we can make a tiny change in the environment and elicit positive outcomes. This website is dedicated to making those environmental changes.
The main focus of Behavior Doctor Seminars is to provide seminars based on scientific principles without the jargon often associated with trainings based on behavioral analysis.
