A way to say "Thank You" to Staff- This is from http://www.sapulpaps.org/Liberty/ - special thank you to Jana Coatney for sharing. Each teacher writes a "fortune" to put inside the cookie. How cute is that? They did this for Bosses' Day.

Back to School Kick-off

Thoreau's PBIS team brought in the Milwaukee Brewers Racing Sausages to help support their annual PBIS kickoff meeting. Thoreau's PBIS team reviewed school wide expectations and set attendance goals. Students had the opportunity to learn many ways in which they can be Safe, Responsible, and Respectful! Staff from Thoreau provided visuals, and took the time to address questions or concerns from students. The Racing Sausages supported the kickoff by interacting with students and staff, racing with the staff and students, and participating in the staff versus students kickball game. Fun was had by everyone as Thoreau set the framework for a Safe, Respectful, and Responsible school year at Thoreau!
